It was the fall of 1999 when we bought Great Plains Glass & Mirror, an already established business. Scot was a professional firefighter and I was working part-time and taking care of our son.  Immediately after opening we discovered we were expecting our second child. This new chapter of our lives was exciting. Yet, working full time and desiring to have more time as a mother was overwhelming at times.  Scot’s Fire Department schedule only allowed him to be here on his days off.

My Dad worked for us full-time in the beginning years and was a great blessing to us. Scot retired from the Fire Department in 2009; finally working full-time which permitted me to be mommy and part-time office manager. Employees have come and gone, many contributed to our success in business and growth. Now 11 years later we have 3 children and oh how they take up my time. What a joy they bring to our lives!

Great Plains Glass & Mirror primarily dealt with replacing glass, mirrors, shower doors, windshields and commercial store fronts. We quickly expanded into replacement windows; now our biggest seller. The expansion continued with frameless shower enclosures, insulated glass units, patio glass and doors, entry doors, storm doors, new and replacement screens, and automobile side-door glass and side mirrors. We soon realized a new opportunity in providing commercial and residential keys, key alike service, commercial keyless entry systems, and handicap door openers and hardware. Situated in Caddo County and serving Oklahoma statewide.
